The PreVEnT project ERASMUS+ 2023-1-RO01-KA220-VET-000151056 is hosting a hands-on workshop focused on predictive maintenance in manufacturing, covering advanced technologies, VET-oriented training tools and real-life Teaching Factory pilots.

Agenda highlights:

• From preventive to predictive maintenance: key differences, cost, safety and efficiency impacts
• Technology overview: sensors, edge/IoT, analytics, AI/ML, digital twins and industrial deployment
• PreVEnT Training Toolkits:
  • WP2: Learners’ toolkit with resource hub and guided case study
  • WP3: Trainers’ toolkit with structure, learning outcomes, pedagogy, and VET curriculum integration
• WP4 Teaching Factories: recorded demos, lessons learned, and industry – education collaboration
• Social and environmental impact: waste and energy reduction, safety and sustainability indicators
• Team workshop: designing a predictive maintenance architecture for a production line
• Q&A panel and next steps

The workshop hosted at ISIM Timișoara was a success, bringing together VET learners and educators, industry professionals and other stakeholders for a productive exchange of knowledge and best practices.
